UAB JPackaging marked the beginning of construction of its modern wooden pallet and pallet collar plant in the Šeduva industrial park, Radviliškis district, with a symbolic capsule ceremony. The plant is expected to produce around 3 million certified EPAL (Euro and CP standard) pallets annually. These pallets will be supplied to the Baltic and Scandinavian countries, while pallet collars produced in Šeduva will be exported globally.
The plant, recognised as a project of national importance and has been included in the list of large-scale investment projects, is planned to commence operations by the end of 2025. The full implementation of the project, with total investments exceeding €30 million, expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
“The construction of a modern plant will enable the company to establish a strong position in the international wooden pallet market – primarily in the Baltic and Nordic regions. Moreover, we are confident that this investment project will have a long-term positive impact on the economic well-being of the Radviliškis district, help stimulate regional economic activity, and significantly contribute to the local development,” said Algirdas Savickis, CEO of UAB JPackaging.
Accordingly, UAB JPackaging will stand out in the wooden pallet manufacturing market with a high level of automation and advanced technologies. Investments in production capacity expansion and state-of-the-art equipment will allow the company to become a regional leader in the production of certified EPAL pallets.
It is planned that the new Šeduva plant will process around 185,000 cubic meters of raw material per year.
